Golden Mask is a mystery and ancient luxury-themed video slot featuring gleaming golden mask symbols, ancient hieroglyphs, and Expanding Wild that is truly exhilarating. Available at KS999, the game delivers a compelling blend of premium aesthetics and bonus mechanics that can reward Malaysian players who know how to make the most of them.
🎭 The Golden Mask Expanding Wild covers the entire reel — more Wilds, bigger wins!
Golden Mask is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot with 20 fixed paylines that transports players to an age of ancient civilisation shrouded in mystery and wealth. The game blends richly detailed visuals — jewel-encrusted golden masks, ancient hieroglyphs, aged earthenware, diamond rings, and precious artefacts — into a deeply immersive slot experience. At KS999, Golden Mask has become one of the most popular choices among Malaysian players who enjoy ancient-culture-themed slots with genuinely compelling bonus mechanics.
The standout feature that sets Golden Mask apart is its Expanding Wild — when the Golden Mask symbol lands on any reel, it expands to cover entire reel across the entire reel (all three positions from top to bottom). This means a single Wild symbol can become three Wilds at once, creating far more winning combination opportunities in a single spin. When the Free Spins feature is triggered, these Expanding Wilds become even more effective, as there are more free spins for Wilds to accumulate and fill additional reels.
With an RTP of 96.20% and medium-high volatility, Golden Mask at KS999 strikes an appealing balance — small and mid-range wins occur frequently enough to keep your balance healthy, while the big-win potential through Expanding Wilds during Free Spins provides a powerful incentive to keep playing. This combination is precisely what makes Golden Mask so popular among Malaysian players of all experience levels.
Golden Mask transports you into a hidden ancient temple, filled with treasures untouched for centuries. The game's backdrop features intricately carved stone walls adorned with hieroglyphic motifs, flickering candlelight, and a warm golden glow radiating from riches scattered throughout — all crafted to immerse you in a deep atmosphere of mystery and excitement.
The high-quality symbols depict a stunning collection of priceless artefacts: the gleaming Golden Mask as the most powerful Wild symbol, the Papyrus Scroll (Scatter) that triggers Free Spins, a gold-marked Antique Vase, a sparkling Diamond Ring, a mysterious Ancient Key, a lucky Purple Crystal, and various poker card symbols embossed in gold as low-pay symbols. Every symbol is meticulously animated — when the Golden Mask expands, a golden light radiates across the reels, delivering a deeply satisfying visual experience.
Golden Mask's background music is a calm yet tension-filled orchestral score — perfect for extended play sessions at KS999. The dramatic win sounds that accompany an Expanding Wild landing add to the excitement, and all of this is available in full quality on the KS999 mobile app for iOS and Android, optimised for Malaysia's 4G/5G networks.

The Golden Mask (Wild) expands to cover the entire reel when it lands, substituting for all symbols except the Scatter. An Expanding Wild is worth significantly more than a standard Wild across most winning combinations.
When the Golden Mask lands on any position on a reel, it expands from 1 symbol into 3 Wild symbols, covering the entire reel:
Every bonus feature is designed to maximise your winning potential on every spin
While every spin is determined by a random RNG, there are approaches that can help you manage your bankroll more wisely and enjoy Golden Mask for longer and more comfortably at KS999. Here is a practical guide from players who know this slot well.
Golden Mask carries medium-high volatility — meaning you may go through several spins without a major win, but small to mid-range wins occur more frequently than on a full high-volatility slot. Prepare a bankroll of at least 60–100x your bet size. If you're playing at RM1 per spin, set aside RM60–RM100 to start.
Golden Mask's biggest wins occur when two or more reels are simultaneously covered by Expanding Wilds. During Free Spins, this is more likely thanks to the increased number of spins. Be patient and focus on landing Scatters to trigger Free Spins — that's where Expanding Wilds truly shine at KS999.
During the base game (outside of Free Spins), the Expanding Wild remains active and can still deliver decent wins that help keep your balance steady. Don't overlook these — treat those base game wins as a "reserve" to carry you into the bigger Free Spins rounds. This is a strategy widely used among experienced KS999 players.
KS999 provides an Auto-Spin feature for Golden Mask. Set a maximum loss limit (e.g. RM50 from a RM100 bankroll) and a win limit (e.g. RM200) in Auto-Spin. This ensures you stop playing once you've hit your target or loss limit, keeping you in full control throughout your session.
During Free Spins with the Wild Multiplier active, keep a close eye on the multiplier value attached to each Expanding Wild. A high multiplier (4x or 5x) on a spin where multiple reels are filled with Wilds can produce extraordinary compounded wins. These are the defining moments in Golden Mask at KS999 — and they are absolutely worth waiting for.
Compare Golden Mask with other slots to find the best fit for your playing style
Golden Mask leads on maximum win potential (5,000x vs. 2,100x) and offers more paylines. If you are chasing the biggest possible win, Golden Mask at KS999 is the stronger choice.
